Many parents when buying a home consider as one of their top priorities the school district and level of education their children will receive.
Recently NEWSWEEK recognized the top 1,300 high schools around the country for 2007 (The Top of the Class) "that do the best job of preparing average students for college", and what do you know--DC, Maryland, and Virginia had 13 high schools in the top 100 best high schools in the country.
